The Company Law Club provides the most accessible source of UK Company Law material available on-line. It presently contains:

• An extensive legal database of company law topics with a comprehensive index.
• Or go straight to a list of the main UK Companies legislation.
• Links to other company law related websites in the UK and elsewhere with a brief description of the contents.
• Company forms library, with a limited download facility.
• Companies Act 2006
  This Act contains a major revision and re-statement of UK company law. Some minor provisions are already in force. Much of the detail is still subject to consultation. The government’s timetable for implementation is that it should mostly be in force by October 2008. The Company Law Club database provides links to the Act, the secondary legislation, the DTI website for the consultation process and our proposals to publish material on the Act in stages.

Library Policy
Established in April 2000, the Club has an ambitious programme of expansion for its library, including:

• continuous updating of material
• the addition of new database topics
• adding new links to other company law related websites
• consolidation of the material from the Company Law Club newsletter

Club policy is to provide the type and level of material required by Club members. Please help us to achieve this by providing your comments about the existing facility and by making suggestions for improvement.
